Re: Rams Sign WR Andrew Hawkins From CFL

hello guys, I do not post alot over here but i try to read everyday and coming form Montreal who has seen Andrew Hawkins play for the Alouettes in the CFL, he is an okay pick up. I will make it clear that is was not our main returnman, it was tim maypray. Also, he was down on the depth charts with the WR because we have alot of good WR's. So Hawkins did not play alot for the alouettes, but he did make some plays when he was called upon and he did line up in the backfield for some plays. I think that the most important thing that hawkins is going to bring to the NFL is his winning mentality, he has won 2 grey cups back to back.

I will say this though... this type of move is not a vote of confidence for the progression of mardy gilyard.

Exactly what I was thinking. A wake-up call for Mr. Gilyard......sh*t or get off the pot.

I've figured it out! Spags is collecting enough little men to transform into one big one like voltron. That has to be it.

voltron theories aside, this guy is shorter than amendola & gilyard .

    Height: 5 ft 7 in (1.70 m) Weight: 175 lb (79 kg)

a bet its a project to find a dynamic return man and even play the slot a bit, but mostly to keep gilyard (5 ft 11in) on the ropes, maybe he didnt respond to the "its ok, your a rookie, you'll get it eventually" approach, now its time for the "if this undrafted cfl player can come in here and show you up this off-season, sh*t man, you really dont have what it takes" approach

My guess is that Gilyard improves this offseason, but doesnt cut the spags mustard index. (SMI)
