    Rams add safety, wide receiver

The Rams made two roster moves to address injury situations Tuesday, adding safety Bhawoh Jue and wide receiver-punt returner Brandon Williams to the active roster.

Injuries to Jerome Carter and Todd Johnson have left the team light at safety; injuries to Isaac Bruce and Dante Hall have sidelined two of the club's top four receivers.

Williams is a Hazelwood East High product who played college football at Wisconsin and began this season with San Francisco. Jue is a seven-year NFL veteran who spent the past two seasons at San Diego, and has 27 career starts with the Chargers and Packers.

To free up roster space for Jue and Williams, the Rams released offensive lineman Jeremy Parquet and placed Carter on the injured reserved list. Carter underwent surgery Tuesday to repair a fractured right foot, an injury that occurred Sunday against Arizona.

is there a reason why they arnt playing Hagans? I know he had his first catch last week but with Bruce and Hall out, i hope he gets more action and a chance to show if he can cut it or not.

Is there a reason why we're releasing offensive linemen to accommodate a wideout that won't do much but possibly return kicks?

Because we finished the game against Arizona with three receivers (Holt, Bennett, and Hagans)?

Hagans will be the number three, this guy is just signed to be a backup in case of further injury.

i remember we tried to sign Jue a few season ago, but i still hope Johnson is back this week

I like the Jue signing, I thought he was a pretty good player with the CHargers.

I have some friends that are diehard Green Bay friends, and they tell me that Jue was on his way to becoming a gamer when they let him go.

This could be a solid longterm pickup if this guy performs ...

Man Donovan Darius must really stink if we are hurting this bad at safety and we didnt even give him a look. I heard someone say Jue was on his way up, well I heard just the opposite. I heard he was constantly getting burned on passing plays. Hopefully he wont have to play much. This is Hagans big chance to shine this week as the #3 guy. He could really bring some energy and spark to this offense. I know I'm rooting for him.

Darius has been on the Dolphins for a few weeks now so he wasn't available. Since Sept 11th I believe.
