I hates those eyes. I hope this isn't they're way of finding the deep threat.

Re: Rams sign WR Reche Caldwell
How funny would it be if we Drafted Andre Caldwell who would be making allot more than big bro reche and might help in giving big bro the boot.

Re: Rams sign WR Reche Caldwell
Great, another standout signing by the rams, I'm sure the rest of NFL is trembling in their cleats....yeah, we got them (the rest of the NFL) right where we want them with this signing....that's why we will continue to be the "Lambs", as we continue to make these gutless signings.

Good call, I thought I was the only one who noticed that. You know it's a slow time when this guy gets this much attention.

Re: Rams sign WR Reche Caldwell
Great shot Banks!
Caldwell's eyes -- I hope he's not thinking "... what? You're gonna throw the ball to ME?"
Let's see if he adapts and makes the team. Can we cut Reche in case Derek Stanley does better at WR #3 during training camp and pre-season?

Re: Rams sign WR Reche Caldwell
Caldwell is no superstar that's for sure but neither is David Tyree the receiver that caught the ball on his helmet in the Superbowl for the Giants.

Well, we signed him for $645,000. The salary cap counts the 50 highest paid members of your team, I believe. So, he either counts 0.645M on the cap, or he's free. His signing bonus was probably non-existent, so the penalty to boot him will be zero or close to zero.
As for Dane Looker, he's still on the team, and probably hopes that Brown likes his holding style. I see him having a little bit more value than Caldwell if he isn't going to be the holder. Guy was awesome coming back from the leg injury though!

Re: Rams sign WR Reche Caldwell
I think Caldwell signed for the veteran's minimum. Plus it's not like the guys coming to replace Bruce, it's only a 1 year contract so if he chokes, cut him.

He had a career year in New England, setting career highs for receptions, yards, and touchdowns. But because of that one drop, he now can't catch the ball. Interesting logic.
The guy signed a one-year deal for a minimal cost of $645,000. The way some fans complain, you'd think we just inked him to a repeat of the Drew Bennett deal.

ONe drop? Nick... of all people I execpt you can certainly find better stats then that. He dropS many balls.
But I think he can be better then Bennett, so maybe we can trade bennett for some decent cleats for the team or something.
