Rams statement about potential sale story

I notice that you didn't list St. Louis in all of your Rams cities...

I loved the Rams in LA, I love the Rams in St. Louis and I will love the Rams where ever they go... although Texas would really make it difficult.

I do, however, have a question for the LA backers and I'm not trying to be mean. Why will it be different this time? Your town has had 3 NFL teams and all 3 have left. What has changed? A new stadium is nice but stadiums don't keep fans coming back.

First the Rams had many successful years in L.A.. What has been proven in the past is that L.A. is a one horse show, 2 teams cannot survive, but 1 team can flourish in the L.A. market. It's the second largest market in the states & the NFL wants a team there. They want the Super Bowl back in So. Cal..
What will change you ask? well for the Rams, ownership for starters & that will be huge. There was bad feeling on all sides from the fans, the city & Georgia, with new ownership in place it opens up the possible return of the Rams to L.A.. With a new stadium plans ready without public funding, new ownership that wants to capitalize on the large market of L.A. & the NFL's desire to have a team back in the 2nd largest market. Without a team in this market the NFL has to feel some kind of failure about not being able to capitalize on the market & the Rams having roots there & now with the sale just over the horizon, things are looking pretty good for L.A.
And yes I am an L.A. backer no bones about it. I want the Rams back in L.A.
Will it happen? Do not know for sure but I have to believe this will be L.A.'s best chance.

THings sure look great for LA (for either the Rams, vikings or chargers) IF and its a HUGE if, some private party comes up with over a billion dollars of equity and debt financing for the stadium alone, plus the money to buy the team.
