Re: Rams steel cage match- who do you pick?

My thought on this is that RJ and RF are just having a lot of fun at each others expense. The whole thing seems pretty benign to me and a fun way to spend the offseason.

Message boards are all football during the season. They tend to be pretty homogenized. However, in the offseason, when everybody lets their hair down.....that's when you see the true make-up of a fan board. And to see a fun, spirited spar like RF v. RJ is a good thing. Trust me, other message boards have to deal with extremely malevolent battles between posters. In the past, even we have had long-drawn out PERSONAL strifes. But that's not what this is at all. I get the feeling that RJ and RF could sit in a room and be best pals even watching a Bama v. Iowa ball game. So I suggest, as long as it stays civil, which it has, we all just sit back and enjoy it.

But unfortunately, nobody can see how cool he looks in his pirate eye patch.

And as usual, your words are too kind. As to the original question, I think if RJ can get to him early, he man handles RF. However, if the bout is an extended affair, RF's boundless energy wears down RJ.

Re: Rams steel cage match- who do you pick?

The question is, will this ever end?

If the Rams take Greenway, and he intercepts a pass in a game, will RJ39 say "yeah, well DeMeco would have run it in for a TD!"

If the Rams take Ryan, and he sacks a QB, will RF16 say "yeah, well Chad would have forced a fumble!"

What if the Rams take Ernie Sims...?

I understand that RamJackson39 has mastered the Sleeper Hold and is a noted expert at utilizing the eye gouge. However, ramsfan16 is very competitive off the top rope and has trained in the use of ken patera's swinging neckbreaker.

Too close to call, we are better off with just watching them go at it from time to time as friends on the board.

Re: Rams steel cage match- who do you pick?

I could totally see RJ and RF starting a point/counter-point show like Pardon the Interuption or Hannity/Colmes. That would be awesome! I can just picture it now......

RJ: Welcome to the "Crimson Hawkeye" Show. First topic, as always, who's better....Greenway or Ryans.

RF: Well, dipstick, there really is no debate as Greenway is obviously better than Ryans. Look at his stats! There's no comparison!

RJ: You're such a tool! Ryans is smarter and stronger. Greenway couldn't hold his jock!

RF: What an ignoramus! Ryans is only good because he plays in the weak SEC.

RJ: Did your parents have any children that lived?!?! The Big 10 is a pop warner league compared to the SEC!

RF: You're crazy, but let's see what the public has to say........we have a caller on line 1, yes go ahead caller.

Caller: Yea, hi guys, longtime listener, first time caller. I think that Sims, Lawson or Carpenter would be a better choice than either Ryans or Greenway.

    silence

    RF & RJ: You stupid hunk of $#@@!#($&@# flying %$$@#@$ monkey @#$@#* son-of-a $*@#(@ motherless @#$$@#(@*
