The Rams still havenít given up 100 yards to a ballcarrier this year.

How can anyone say this D has not improved. All we talk about was stopping the run, adding Jekins this offseason. AC and Ryan, are two young rookies playing well. Ryan is looking better every week. We can add a SS and a FS next year and we will be back.

I still would like to start Ryan and AC the rest of the way to get them as much playing time as possible.

rambos you are 100% correct. there is no reason for glover to ever see the field again. LET THE KIDS PLAY!!!!!!! Get wade on the field as well, although not ahead of brown, bartell and hill as they will all be back next year in all liklihood.

who the hell would have thought that we would be saying that about our defense and that our offense sucks AND we are 0-6.maybe to save themselves more embarrassment after they have there bye week they just don't come back.

and what makes this fact even better is that teams often have the lead on us and should be running out the clock, but they still havent been able to get a guy reach 100 on the ground against us

Imagine what we could do if only we were healthy on offense....

Sunday we had both our starting CB in and what do you know, we got to the QB. THe pass rush looked a lot better with out Walls giving up easy catches all day.

Yeah, if anybody thought Walls was the answer, they must not have heard the question.

This defense has the potential to be one of the best in the league. Carriker and Ryan are getting comfortable in the pro game. Hall is turning into a beast on the end. LL is still suffering from the turf toe, but Victor Adeyanju is coming along nicely as well. WW is becoming a middle LB. Chillar has become acceptable on the strong side, and Pisa seems to be returning to form. Brown and Hill are good corners, while Otagwe has grown into FS. I still think Chavous is not the SS of the future, but that is a fixable position.

Rams need to look at adding depth on the D next year, not drafting a starter.

I think we still need a new SS for sure and FS Otagwe is just ok, I think we need to upgrade there as well.

Re: The Rams still havenít given up 100 yards to a ballcarrier this year.

We haven't given up 100 yards to a rusher all year. True fact.........but (man, I feel like a feminine cleansing product for this, but here goes) on half the games (Tampa, Carolina, Dallas) it was simply for lack of trying. Each of those teams sent 2 or 3 backs into regular sets, and ran the ball rather effectively against us. Sorry, hate to, but I had to point that out.

However, the other 3 games (S.F., Zona, Balt.) all had feature back schemes that had every opportunity to post triple digit yards........and didn't get it done! Edge, Willis, & Gore combined for 77 ypg, and 3.2 ypc. Those are 3 solid performances from our run D, no matter how you slice it. Now if we can just figure out those pesky backs-by-committee teams.
