Rams still in the hunt
OK I know this is a long shot but if we are going to keep the dream alive in 2012 we have to win this game Sunday. IF we win, here are some positive things that have not happened in years.
After week 8
We are at .500 at the halfway point
We will get back our O line back after the bye week, for the first time since game one we will line up Well and Saffold.
Amendola will be back soon
We are undefeated in the west 2-0
Our defense missed Brockers for a few games he has been huge and will be in the second half of the season.
Our TEAM is as healthy as I have seen it this far into the season in YEARS.
Givens is really coming into his own the last four games, he has arrived. He really did not have an impact the first three games.
AZ is 4-3 and the Whiners are 5-2 one will lose this week for sure.(they play each other)
We will have two weeks to get ready for the Whiners.
This is a big game come Sunday lets find a way to win going into the bye!Last edited by Rambos; -10-24-2012 at 11:47 AM.

Re: Rams still in the hunt
Love the enthusiasm......you never know
My take is the Rams will be playing close to playoff caliber ball come weeks 14 -17.....but they will not make playoffs. Too young, not enough depth (yet) and our youth betrays us at times with silly mistakes. Having said that my hopes for this year have been realized. I know this because I no longer get in the fetal position after second half starts
, we have already increased our wins over last year by 50% and we are not a pushover. I predicted 4 wins before the season but can now see 6-7. With another strong draft and FA sigining, we are going to be there by next year !!
Having said all of that Rambos, I hope you are right and I am wrong

I hope the new OL plug-ins take root and we can think about gradually bringing in the rehabs.
Patient, not saintly.

It's been so long for the Rams to not be destroyed by injuries this has to be the biggest change going into the second half. I do think we will play better in the second half then the first.
It's has to start Sunday!

Re: Rams still in the hunt
I'm not one to settle for mediocrity, however I have seen more out of this team than what I expected. The line is as overacheived, not seeing a lot of drops for the WR's & TE. The D has been playing well. I'm happy that we can have this conversation at this point and that it's a LEGIT conversation!

Re: Rams still in the hunt
Will be a tall order. Green Bay, NE and SF in successive games- that's why i was so fired up we squandered a win in Miami. We're gonna' have to steal one along the way. The odds aren't strong it will occur, but certainly stranger things have happened. It would be nice to take that next step and get a huge win against a team few think we can beat.
