Rams, Titans to Train Together
Rams, Titans to Train Together
Thursday, June 5, 2008
The St. Louis Rams and Tennessee Titans will work against each other in Nashville, Tenn. during training camp, the team announced today.
“I talked with Jeff (Fisher) at the league meetings and we both had an idea that it would be good if we could work against each other during training camp this year,” said Rams Head Coach Scott Linehan. “After going against your own guys during camp, I think the workouts would be a good change of pace and beneficial for both teams. The schedule worked out where we could do this in conjunction with playing the first preseason game.”
The Rams play Tennessee in the first preseason game Thursday, Aug. 9, at 7 p.m. at LP Field in Nashville, Tennessee.
Re: Rams, Titans to Train Together
Wait a minute...we move our training camp to within spitting distance of the GB Packers, and then we set up practice with a team that holds their training camp in Nashville, Tennessee? Am I missing something? I thought we moved to be close to a team we could practice with.
