we have to hear the money of course, but i like this signing a lot. excellent on special teams, good for depth. not a starter, but a very solid backup. lets hope this is one of two faulks on the roster next year.

I agree I love the signing. Faulk did good when he started and is a great special teams player. Sign Ivy to an extention also.

ivy is a great speical teams player who can play nickel and dime packages!!!!

I would love to see us keep ivy as well on the cheap. I think he is going to test the free agent market, i think that he really stepped up this year. Personally, i think groce is better. Groce played hurt all year, more upside.

The guy makes a lot of tackles. I couldn't find anyone that thinks he can step up and be our starter.

The guy gets to the ball and makes the tackle faster than a lot of big name guys on our Defense.

Regardless, the really good teams match unheralded lunch pail, high effort types with coveted early draft picks. Teams need both.

Sounds like a good signing to me.
