rams trivia question
Name the only rams general manager who also served as both a general manager of a major league baseball team and as a major league umpire. I wonder if any other person has ever served in all three of those capacities (gm in football, baseball and baseball umpire), i would say it is pretty unlikely.
Answer to be posted tonight, but i strongly suspect that given the plethora of knowledge held by the collective clanram, someone will post the answer in the next ten minutes.

Re: rams trivia question
HUbison, you are correct. billy evans, hired in 1941 by dan reeves to be the gm after reeves bought the team. I knew it wouldnt take long for someone to come up with the answer and it doesnt surprise me that the biggest bison of them was the man, but i still think its a pretty good question. My only curiosity is whether the Big Bison has to consult with Granny Bison on the answer or if he got this one on his own.

Re: rams trivia question
There is no question truly answered without first consulting Granny. My only curiosity is whether the Big Bison has to consult with Granny Bison on the answer or if he got this one on his own."Before the gates of excellence the high gods have placed sweat; long is the road thereto and rough and steep at first; but when the heights are reached, then there is ease, though grievously hard in the winning." --- Hesiod
