The rams and ty law?
espn is reporting that the jets and ty law have agreed to a divorce. Law will be an unrestricted free agent. He is 32 and had 10 interceptions last year.
Poston is certainly an issue, i wonder how much money law is going to want.

Wed, 15 Feb 2006 12:11:51 -0800
Keven Lerner, of the <A href="http://www.kffl.com/link/167">Sun-Sentinel, reports New York Jets CB Ty Law expects to be released shortly and that he wants to play for a Super Bowl contender. Law said in an interview with the Kansas City Star that the Miami Dolphins could be a possibility. Law added he is seeking "around 10 million" in guaranteed bonus money.

Re: The rams and ty law?
I would love to see him here too he would not cost any more than Clements would maybe even less plus he had 10 interceptions and clements had 2

Re: The rams and ty law?
I'm not so sure ? He would be great and would most definitely help our D but the $ and he wants to be on a SB contender team ? I hope and pray we will make it to the BIG Show but their a lot of things that need to be fixed and with a new staff looking to gel together and gel with the players I really don't know if we are at that point yet ( not be negative you all know me I'm always positive type but I'm also realistic on the facts )

Re: The rams and ty law?
$10 million in guaranteed money to a 32 year old corner represented by poston. Next please. I challenge anyone on this board to claim that ty law can help our defense more than ryan pickett for the same money.

Re: The rams and ty law?
I would love to know this is true, but the term "cap-friendly" is nowhere in the Poston vocabulary. I've never heard of a Poston client working out a quick easy deal with a contract that won't push cap threshholds.

Re: The rams and ty law?
Too expensive. We all need to start accepting the fact that this team likely does not have the cap space to make a run at a big time free agent.

Re: The rams and ty law?
Correct me if I am wrong but I think that the Poston represented Orlando Pace until he fired them last year. If this is the case there is absolutely no way we would get a cap friendly number for one of their current clients. I would think they would do everything in possible to make sure he went somewhere else.
Picket is where we need to spend money.

Re: The rams and ty law?
PLEASE NO TY LAW !!!! The cap can't support him and I believe he would be a cancer on the team. I'd rather grovel at the feet of my exwife than watch him in Ram horns.
