Key matchup: Rams' WRs Holt, Bruce vs. Packers' CBs Harris, Woodson
For the last eight years, Holt and Bruce have been one of the most consistent receiver tandems in the NFL. Holt recently turned 30 and Bruce is 33, but both players seem every bit as good as they were during their primes. Holt is seventh in the NFL with 332 receiving yards and is tied for the NFL lead with three receiving touchdowns. Bruce is 11th in the league with 320 yards and has one touchdown.
Before the season, Harris and Woodson seemed to make a pretty formidable tandem at cornerback, but both players have struggled at times this season. The Packers have given up seven passing touchdowns this season, which ties them for 26th among the NFL's 32 teams.
A year after having the best passing defense in the NFL, the Packers are giving up 292.5 passing yards per game, which ranks them 31st, ahead of only the Houston Texans, who are giving up 295.3.
The Packers had good reason to expect better performances from Woodson and Harris. Woodson is a Pro Bowl corner and Harris is considered one of the better corners in the league, but neither has shown that this season. The Packers have struggled against top receivers this season. Muhsin Muhammad and Roy Williams both had more than 100 yards receiving against the Packers. They also have shown they're capable of being beaten by receivers like Philadelphia's Greg Lewis, who had two touchdowns against the Packers on Monday night.
This easily will be the toughest matchup Harris and Woodson have faced, and if Holt and Bruce are able to have big games against the Packers, the Rams may be able to win easily.

If Holt and Bruce can have big games ? No "if" needed, it's a given. The Packers secondary has been in a state of confusion. This game will send them spiraling down the road of confusion some more.:r
