Houston is fighting for their lives against the Jaguars.
Atlanta is doing the same at home against the Cardinals.
Dallas is in a cliffhanger against the Browns.

This was NOT the Rams' day.

I have to say, this game is WORSE than the Pats one. We lost to a team that we were favored to beat only to fall flat to our faces. While Bradford had his fair share of faults, Schotty, the O-line, and our WRs sans Amendola played like crap as well. Our defense played like Swiss cheese today as well, Johnson better learn from the multitude of busted coverage. I hope we can rebound against the Cards next game with Wells around. Today was another game that showed our youth, expect more of these growing pains as the season progresses but I know we'll have success in the long run.

Too convenient an excuse for a team that needs to learn how to win. Add last weeks fiasco to this weeks horrible showing, and the "any given Sunday" tag is just an excuse.

Its not an excuse. Its reality. Even good teams have bad games and, right now, the Rams don't qualify as a good team.

Too many 5 yard passes when we needed 10 + too many major coverage mistakes by our rookie DB's + too many bad throws from Bradford + too many poor tackles = LOSS.

Pretty simple really.

Atlanta beat the Cards.
Dallas beat the Browns.
"Any given Sunday" does not apply to the Rams, they are still just a bad team this year.

Rams dumped a big steamy pile on the turf today. Quite a poor effort all-around and from both sides. Hope for a LOT better next week.
