Re: Rams vs Packers gameday discussion
What I want to know is why we always have to have crappy luck ontop of everything else. Sometimes that's what frustrates me the most. Why all the injuries all the time? What did the Rams do that was so terrible that fate decided we needed to get kicked while we were down for three years running?

Re: Rams vs Packers gameday discussion
i guess it's hard to take someone seriously who's named after the guy, but it's not like the guy made great throws or anything. both td's were easy throws to fells over bad coverage by chillar. i like his ability to scramble, but he killed 3-4 drives with terrible throws, it's just not enough over the course of the game to get us a w.

Re: Rams vs Packers gameday discussion
What I'm wondering is why we have so few receivers? I'm questioning Spag's thinking on this one...

Re: Rams vs Packers gameday discussion
He didn't let up all those points either. Just give it time. I'm not really a Rams fan, but I am partial to them since Boller was signed. I'm actually a Ravens fan. I'm not trying to be a jerk, but I just had to point out that in the 2nd quarter everyone was ready to name a street after him, and now they want to chase him down it. I guess being a football fan is sort of and emotional roller coaster. I wish the Rams well, with Bulger or Boller as the starter. I do however feel that the Rams will have a better shot at winning with Boller as there starter. I believe he's got a lot of tools, but but never had much to work with in Baltimore in my opinion, as far as an offensive scheme, or offensive line. I wish I could've seen how he'd have done under Coach Harbough. Have a nice day everyone.

Re: Rams vs Packers gameday discussion
I actually think he could be what the Rams need (for now) while the offensive line blows. On the other hand, he needs to get better with his throws if that's going to be the case. He also needs someone to throw to. Burton did nice stepping in but Avery was marginalized (and no deep shots).
Also I'm questioning the give it to Jackson strategy. I think it's good when the game is starting or if you're in the lead but once you're down a touchdown or two all you're doing is helping the enemy run the clock down.

Re: Rams vs Packers gameday discussion
Yea, there were a lot of hand-offs to Jackson that weren't very smart. We're down a lot, we need to get the ball down the field. We have to go with the pass.

Re: Rams vs Packers gameday discussion
Besides the 3 huge pass plays 2 which happened to be on Bartell (I'm just saying) he had no safety help over the top i don't know if that was schematic or just a bad move by Dahl, but Bartell didn't play well. The other big pass play Fletcher was in instead of Wade and I don't know why. Besides that D played excellent considering how many points the pack got off turnovers. It was at least 20 points off turnovers.

Re: Rams vs Packers gameday discussion
No doubt. The strength of this team is special teams and defense, the problem is the offense. The defense gets tired late in the games (that's when the other teams score most of their points) because the Offense doesn't do it's job.
The problem with the offense starts not with the o-line but with the recievers. If recievers take longer to get open the o-line has to operate longer.
