I think you'd see a reduction in concussions though. Fewer knee injuries as well. Guys won't lead with the helmet with those things, watch the old films of the NFL and see how tackling styles and methods have changed BECAUSE of the plastic helmets. It's a weapon. Take it away and you'd have football as it was designed. Don't tell me the toughness of the game would be lost, on the contrary. Watch a rugby game and tell me it's for pansies. LOL.
