    Random Thoughts On The Game/Rams

We don't need home games like the one today.

The OL performances continues to amaze me when I see the names of the guys starting.

Sam Bradford looks more and more comfortable every week.

Bradley Fletcher completely forgot about the rule against grabbibng an opponents jersey to make a play.

I think there is still hope for Isaiah Pead.

I think there is still hope for Brian Quick.

Chris Givens is going to be a star. Hope his toe injury is no big deal.

Steven Jackson is like the invisible man. He is most certainly not in the future plans of the Rams, perhaps the near future.

The Rams need to utilize Lance Kendricks more.

Is there any reason to keep Steve Smith around? Talk about a complete non-factor.

It's going to be a long 2 weeks until the whiners game.

    Rushing ATT YDS LG
    D. Richardson 7 53 0 20
    I. Pead 3 32 0 19
    S. Jackson 7 23 0 7
Did the Rams already trade SJ and are not allowed to use him?

I was thinking man we should have kept DX, he would be more productive.

Agreed. I would like to add, Janoris Jenkins looked decent in the beginning of the season, now he just looks LOST. I'm still excited about him though, I just hope he pulls it together soon.

When Brady has all the time to throw, even the finest secondaries will be exposed eventually. Our defense as a whole had an off day but I believe they can rebound and show why they're Top 15 material through the second half of the season.

I agree with you ramsbruce. I think teams have had time to study Jenkins and they've been able to fimd some weaknesses. That said, I'm still excited about him as well. He's got all the tools to be a good one.

I think it's more than just being exposed, and QBs having time to throw. Jenkins is staring back at the QB and guys are running by him. It wasn't just today. I have high hopes for him, but he really needs to put in some work because some of that crap is inexcusable. The good thing is he's only a rookie and has time to get better. Hopefully it's sooner rather than later.

Silver Lining? Maybe our "poorformance" will be overshadowed by Romo's three interceptions and Dallas being whooped by the Giants. Still in the second, but fingers crossed.

He also has a tendency to bite on play fakes and double moves, as well as get confused in certain coverages. He'll learn.

All you have to do is look at the attempts and total yds. Rich gained 53 off 7 carries and Jax a mere 23 yds off 7 carries. even Pead with a mere 3 carries outgained Jax in yards. I just hope we haven't waited too long and get nothing for him.

Jenkins was actually the player in the Rams secondary that played the best today. Finnegan gave up too much to Welker, Fletcher decided to go pass interference crazy, and the less said about the safeties, the better

Re: Random Thoughts On The Game/Rams

Jenkins is having some real growing pains and looking like a rookie these days

You cannot give Brady that kind of time and expect good results. What was even worse is that when the Rams dropped 8 into coverage, Pats were still wide open. Just an abject failure from the D today all around.
