    Ranky K. interview with Linehan

Randy was reporting on 1380. He said Linehan said the Rams wanted an impact player at 13 and doesn't think any of the DT's will be. Linehan says both Branch and Okoye both have short comings.

On Jenkins: Linehan said if anyone can get the trade done, it's Ziggy.

Randy said Linehan lit up when talking about 2 players: Ginn and Carriker.

Randy then went on to say take this for what it's worth. Said the only GM or coach that told the them who the Rams were taking were Steve Ortmayer and Rich Brooks when they drafted Lawrence Phillips.

Call it a hunch, but I think the guy they REALLY want is Jamaal Anderson.

OK.... I'll take these small tremors, as long as they don't lead us to a 6.9 If they don't come away with a DT either through trade or a pick, on the first day of the draft, I'm afraid Haslett will walk.

Please Linehan, Show Jim some well deserved love and give him some toys to play with too.

I know, you never show em your hand until the last second.

jamaal anderson would be great for the rams. I think we want okoye, but dont expect him to be around and jamaal is our second choice.

if i was our gm or linehan or whoever calls the picks, i would give the duties to haslett and tell him to pick the best player that would help the run defense and fit in with his scheme

That could very well be; I just can't see them being so excited over a 4th WR (Ginn) and a defensive end (Carriker) who will be an average pass rusher.

    I'll take 'im.

...Perhaps, but I think another guy for finding the best talent is Softli. That is why we pay Tony, to find talent from the collegiate level.

Carriker would be a safe pick, he is great against the run and can play inside if needed.

I would love Carriker and Aanderson. Either would be a great pick...I think the Okoye bandwagon has some clouds (yes...Clouds ) to work through before it picks up steam again.

For the moment, I'd love Okoye, but I'd love Carriker and Aanderson i just as much.
