Re: Ravens - Game day thread
Oh my God we have the worst secondary in football. College or pro. Sorry.
People who think Fakir Brown, Tye Hill, Bartell and Todd Johnson are good must not know football. PLEASE GET RID OF THEM AND GET SOME QUALITY DBs!!!!!
Haslett can do all the scheming he wants but with no defensive backs, nothing is going work for very long.

Re: Ravens - Game day thread
How do you know Linehan didn't like Curtis? The fact is Bruce beat out Curtis for the #2 spot fair and square last year and Bruce's 74 catches for 1098 yards proved Bruce deserved it. We didn't run as many 3 WR sets so Curtis wasn't used as much, it wasn't because he didn't like him.

Re: Ravens - Game day thread
Frerotte hit as he wound up to throw, looks like a fumble instead of an INT, recovered by Baltimore. Turnover #4.

Re: Ravens - Game day thread
You and I have no idea what Linehan really thinks. All we know is that Bennett was signed and Curtis was not. Curtis played a lot when Bruce was hurt. A lot of Martz type players have moved on. Linehan and Martz like different players and the team is being adjusted to fit Linehan now.

Re: Ravens - Game day thread
You said earlier Linehan didn't like Curtis, now you don't know. I do know that Bruce won the #2 spot, Linehan doesn't run as many 3WR sets therefore Curtis didn't play as much. I doubt it has anything to do with like or dislike, it had to do with Bruce earning the #2 spot.
Curtis wasn't signed because he wanted to be a starter and he wasn't going to be one here, and Curtis didn't want to bank on someone getting injured so he could start here. He wanted to start from day one.BRUUUUUUUUCE

Re: Ravens - Game day thread
Turnover #5 by Frerotte, hit as he threw deep, INT by Ed Reed. Frerotte hurt but walked off by his own power.
You're not going to win many games when you turn the ball over five times.

Re: Ravens - Game day thread
I do think that Linehan would have campaigned to re-sign Curtis if he was 6'5.
Welcome to the St. Louis Rams!
