Ray Ray Armstrong
Today, (apparently, I haven't listened to it yet) Les Snead spoke to 101 ESPN and said that Ray Ray Armstrong was going to be a LB (he currently weighs 230 lbs).
This could be an amazing transition. Armstrong probably won't be able to take on offensive lineman and shed their blocks, but talk about an athletic and rangy LB. Armstrong is 6'4, 230 lbs, and ran a 4.69 forty. Armstrong is a big guy and actually looks a little bit like Alec Ogletree. He could certainly help cover TE's and HB's on 3rd down, not to mention he can be a devastating hitter.
I really hope Armstrong can get things together and make the team. Considering the fact that before his demise from the U, he was considered a first round prospect and a top S prospect, I wouldn't be surprised if he had a nice role on this team. I'd take Armstrong all day over guys like Matt Daniels, Cody Davis, and Mcleod, but that's what training camp and OTA's are for.
THE DREAM TEAM
What exactly happened with this guy again to have him booted from the U?

Re: Ray Ray Armstrong
matt daniels was hurt last year and fisher did like him, so we'll see what he does this year
cody davis hasn't even gotten to do anything with the team, but looks like a promising safety
i don't know about taking him "all day" but it looks like the rams are gathering a really underrated group of safeties imo
