Are really trading the number two pick to the redskins
ESPN is reporting Rams are getting Redskins 2012, 2013,2014, first round pick and their 2012 second round pick for our 2012 first round pick. No way would they be giving the Rams all that, right? They said the trade is pending.

Re: Are really trading the number two pick to the redskins
I didn't see what year's 2nd it was, and it said "other picks". I'm expecting maybe next year's second, and two mid rounders this year.
I believe!

Yep, 3 1st rounders over the next 3 years and the 2nd rounder for this year. Not bad at all! If Blackmon is still there at No. 6 that this just went from "one heck of a trade" to "possible the best trade ever." Now all we need to do is hope the Redskins are horrible over the next few years!

by Ryan Van Bibber on Mar 9, 2012 10:35 PM CST in 2012 NFL Draft
The St. Louis Rams moved ever so closer to turning around their moribund franchise on Friday night. Roughly two months after hiring Jeff Fisher as their head coach and cleaning out the front office, the Rams swung a deal with the Washington Redskins. They traded their second overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft in exchange for Washington's next three first-round picks, including their sixth this year, and their second-round pick this year.

Looks like Skins can change their mind by Tuesday though. Just because the new season starts Tuesday, this can't signed till then

Re: Are really trading the number two pick to the redskins
There will be a quality player available at number 6, this is an amazing trade. This is how you turn a franchise around.
Now if Blackmos ends up falling to us, thats just outstanding, in essence gaining 2 1sts and a 2nd for nothing.

Re: Are really trading the number two pick to the redskins
Lets just say Kalil, Blackmon, and Clainborne are not there at #6. While this situation is not likely we are still looking at Dre Kirkpatrick, Trent Richardson, or Riely Rieff.
