Recipe For Saturday: Hawk Wings
AvengerRam's Hawk Wings
Ingredients:
1 1/2 dozen hawk wings (may substitute chicken for hawk; may also use eagle or falcon)
2 cups BBQ sauce
1/4 cup Rasberry Preserves
1/2 cup tamari soy sauce
1/4 cup red pepper (finely chopped)
1/4 cup sweet onion (finely chopped)
3 tbsp. minced garlic
1 tbsp. cayanne pepper
1 tbsp. paprika
1 tbsp. ground ginger
1 tbsp. dried parsley
Tabasco to taste (optional)
Combine all ingredients in large bowl and stir until well combined. Pour over wings in large baking pan (turn wings to ensure all sides coated). Bake at 425 degrees for 30-45 minutes (depending on size) until meat is cooked through. Switch oven to broil setting. Broil 2-3 minutes per side until sauce glazes and skin bubbles (but does not burn). Serve with celery sticks and favorite dipping sauce.
Anyone else have any recipes they'd like to share for Saturday?

Rasberry preserves on wings? That sounds odd to me. How are they?

Just to add a little to the aforementioned Hawk Wings recipe.
1) Place beer of choice in a large cooler.
2) Fill with ice.
3) Remove all chairs and/or sofas from viewing area.
4) Adorn yourself with your favorite RAMS oufit.
5) Put on comfortable pacing shoes and/or mukluks.
6) Prepare for adrenaline rush.
7) Place defibrillator in close proximity.
8) Remain calm, but nervous. (If possible).
9) Celebrate with Hawk Wings after the RAMS 'Q' up the Seabirds.

I'm glad you asked that. They are excellent.

Seriously, you should whip up a batch. Its an easy recipe, and it is quite good.
And, ram3057 - your accompanying suggestions sound pretty good to me!

I'm now convinced, Avenger, that you do the English voiceover work for Iron Chef. That sounded like something right off the show.
