The record setting Marc Bulger
Well, potentially record setting anyway. Just found something interesting regarding our use of Bulger so far this season as compared to other QBs in the past.
The season record for:
Most pass attempts - 1994 Drew Bledsoe - 691
Most completions - 2002 Rich Gannon - 418
Most pass yards - 1984 Dan Marino - 5084
Bulger is currently on pace for:
Pass attempts - 700
Completions - 452
Pass Yards - 5240
All three would be records. I'd be happy for Bulger to hold those records, but if we have to pass that much, I have a bad feeling about the rest of the season.

Re: The record setting Marc Bulger
I agree. These Records would be nice for Marc And our receivers, but not so nice for the team as a whole.
If we dont start getting the run blocking we need; Bulger will need arm replacement surgery.
Jackson might not get 1000 yards.
We will have to depend on the Defence to keep us in the games.
If you think Martz bashers are unbearable Now wait till midseason. All the media will be tied for 1st in Avengers Glower ratings. My heart beats crazy and my blood runs wild

Re: The record setting Marc Bulger
Those records would be great if they were a by-product of our offensive system....but not as a result of a seasonful of games like yesterday.

Well, thank goodness so far this season that's been the only game like that.

The record would be a sham if it resulted in more games like the Giants game.
Who cares if Bulger's in the record books in a lossing effort?____________________________________________

Re: The record setting Marc Bulger
The Hammerheads care since he is their QB, but all the interceptions are killing Bulger's numbers. Passing yards don't mean much without TDs to back them up.
