Consider him gone if he meets with Washiington!Last edited by RamsFan16; -03-10-2006 at 12:05 AM.

Re: Redskins | Team was scheduled to meet with Archuleta
It feels really weird to me having him look around at other teams, especially the skins. This will complicate my fan perspective if he ends up signing with them.

Re: Redskins | Team was scheduled to meet with Archuleta
If Snyder wants to overpay for him, go right ahead. i still don't know how the skins can even bring in big free agents considering they are always over the cap. the thought of sean taylor and archuleta is a little scary however.

Gol dang it you blame everything on marmie. Its getting kind of old because its not Marmies fault he can't tackle. Its Archs injury that he had. He won't ever be the same.

He needs to do what's best for him, the Rams need to do what's best for them. My feeling that what's best for both of them is that he's on someone else's sideline next season.
Marmie was bad, but last time I looked DC's weren't reponsible for tackling drills.
Archuleta isn't the same player as 3 years ago and he was fairly one-dimensional then.

Re: Redskins | Team was scheduled to meet with Archuleta
Il be happy to resign Archuleta for cheap and then send him to DC for Sean Taylor.
What? I can dream! Huff and Taylor in the secondary, now that would be godly!

Re: Redskins | Team was scheduled to meet with Archuleta
I am not sold on re-signing Arch. Just a question for those who evaluated last years draft class. Is Atogwe the same type of player as Arch?
If so, is our money better spent someplace else?
If not, do we resign him and also draft Huff?"I was the originator of smack. Some guys rattle with smack; with other guys it rolls right off their shoulders like nothing. "

Carter is the same player as Arch, but Atogwe is more of a coverage FS than either Arch or Carter.

Re: Redskins | Team was scheduled to meet with Archuleta
I've said from the beginning that I'd consider Arch at a reasonable price, but I thought the market would overpay for him. If Snyder is involved, that's a near certainty.
Welcome to the St. Louis Rams!

Re: Redskins | Team was scheduled to meet with Archuleta
HUbison,
For some reason I thought Atogwe was someone who liked to come up and support the run. Didn't he have a reputation in college as someone who liked to hit, just like Carter."I was the originator of smack. Some guys rattle with smack; with other guys it rolls right off their shoulders like nothing. "

Re: Redskins | Team was scheduled to meet with Archuleta
He is a hitter, he lead all safeties in forced fumbles in his last year of college i believe. However he is still more of a coverage safety, just with the ability to lay someone out as well. This is why i think he will be the starting FS this year
