9:26 PT: Big Blue Interactive, citing a Bergen Record story, reports the New York Giants have reportedly made a contract offer to free agent WR Ricky Proehl (Rams). The deal apparently is in line with the standing offer Proehl has from the Rams, one-year, $750,000. "We're interested in a two-year arrangement. The Giants are talking about a one-year situation. We're hopeful we'll work it out," said Proehl's agent. The Texans and Buccaneers are also said to be interested in Proehl.
