I don't think this is a good thing.
".....He's (Rob Ryan) an image wrapped in a soso defensive coordinator. Anyone who hated Spag's can't be liking the similarities... " something I've previously written about Ryan.
I just don't think he's been effective enough in his previous opportunities and that he's living off the name and the legacy of his father.Semper Fi

I don't get it. I'm guessing here, but if there are signals to be sent in, just look for "that" dude.
Is it just me (and I'll confess, I'm blatantly judging the cover of the book here), or does he not look like a seventeenth century dutch painter, sans cape?Patient, not saintly.

Its changed, they are meeting Saturday, so your dream of him being named DC is crushed! I expect it to happen soon enough though.

I just wonder if Ryan can operate under the "know your role and shut your mouth" for very long.
Please, get someone else.

Re: Rob Ryan at Rams Park Today Interviewing for DC position
You know, I honestly don't know how I feel about this possibility. On the one hand, Ryan is respected as a defensive mind. He's better than Dallas' defensive numbers this year would lead you to believe given the injuries they suffered. He's a high energy guy who isn't short on confidence.
On the other hand, Ryan comes from a family that is overbearing, to say the least. I don't know if his bluster or his style best befits the Rams, whose defense this season made great strides under tough circumstances.
Once again, I will put my faith in Fisher, in whom I am confident of making the right call here.
