    In terms of the longer view, this is the choice that I had hoped would be made. Held up well towards the end of last season and seems to have the confidence of the guys around him. Can't just measure a guy by his playing weight.

    Agreed. To me, it is a little funny that Romberg himself alluded to his size as something along the lines of disadvantageous. It must be the way he's built because he's 6-2, 300 lbs., certainly not "small" if he knows how to leverage and stand off defenders. McCollum is 300 lbs too, a couple inches taller.

    But I realize that Brett, a 4 year NFL veteran center, knows better than I do, as do his coaches. I'm just glad he has made the grade despite his size and is also making a name for himself. With us!
