Re: ROMO out !!!!!!!
What?????? NOOOOOOOOO. My fantasy team is doomed! Oh, wait. Schaub's on the waiver wire and is playing Detroit next week. Never mind, I'm cool.
Go Rams! Is is a bad thing that I foresee Chris long sacking Johnson and ending up falling to the turf over a pile of dust?

Re: ROMO out !!!!!!!
Wow if that's true that improves our chances tremendously. The Cowboys without Romo and then the Patriots without Brady - not impossible games.

Re: ROMO out !!!!!!!
WOW! This is unbelievably huge. If we can generate the type of pass rush we did against Washington, we might sack this guy a half dozen times ....

Re: ROMO out !!!!!!!
Yeah, the official word is that a source told Michael Smith of ESPN that he has a broken pinky on his throwing finger(probably from that tuck rule play in the endzone, is my bet), and will be out a month. Considering that they have a week 10 bye, that probably means he'll be back week 11.

Re: ROMO out !!!!!!!
Oh SNAP! Cowboys at home without their starting quarterback I love it. If our defense can play like they played on Sunday then we have a shot. Although Marion Barber is brutal.
Our offense has to generate some kind of points too, other than using the leg josh brown.

Re: ROMO out !!!!!!!
They play us at home, but again I say let's not get ahead of ourselves. Brad Johnson is still a good QB. They still have some good receivers, and last time I checked Brad Johnson does not play defense. The Rams have to keep the new attitude they have to play thru opposition, and play a full 4 qts. Brad Johnson poses a new set of problems because we have no tape on him and how he plays with this particular cast of characters.

Re: ROMO out !!!!!!!
Here's the injury report, for what it's worth, from The Cowturds site.Quite a few significant names although you can never tell how honest the assessment is & a lot can change before next Sunday.
Personally, I'm more concerned with Pace's quad & the Fakhir situation.
QB Tony Romo (finger) - On the first snap of overtime Romo was sacked by Chike Okeafor. In the post-game locker room he sported a heavy wrap and ice on the pinky finger of his right, throwing hand. The injury was called a sprained fifth finger.
P Mat McBriar (foot) - McBriar's foot collided with Arizona's Sean Morey on the blocked punt to end Sunday's game. He was carted off the field. X-rays were negative but the injury was called a foot contusion, occurring on the top of his foot exactly where he needs to kick the ball.
RB Felix Jones (hamstring) - On his first run of the third quarter Sunday Jones went 14 yards around left end but slowed up near the sideline with pain in his left hamstring. He rode a stationary bicycle and stretched with trainers but was unable to return.
LB Anthony Spencer (hamstring) - Spencer was listed on the injury report after the game with a strained left hamstring.
S Keith Davis (thumb) - The special teams captain had his left thumb bandaged. He said it was "busted open" early in the game, and trainers said he has a laceration. Davis also limped noticeably.
LT Flozell Adams (shoulder) - Early in Sunday's game Adams suffered a stinger between his neck and left shoulder. He lost feeling in his left arm for a time, and the shoulder was heavily wrapped after the game.
CB Terence Newman (sports hernia) - Newman had surgery performed by hernia specialist Dr. William Meyers about his in Durham, N.C. Friday. Jerry Jones said the surgery went well. The Cowboys expect the recovery to sideline him another four-to-six weeks.
C Andre Gurode (ankle) - After being listed probable on the week's final injury report, Gurode played every offensive snap against Arizona.
S Pat Watkins (neck) - Watkins has missed the last two games trying to get past the chronic stingers he received each of the season's first four games. He didn't practice Friday and the club is hoping the lack of contact will have him ready for the St. Louis game.
FB Deon Anderson (knee) - Anderson had surgery less than a month ago and played on offense and special teams the last two weeks.
NT Tank Johnson (ankle) - Johnson has been dealing with a nagging right ankle injury he suffered in Week Three against Green Bay but has not missed a game.
DE Stephen Bowen (hamstring) - Bowen returned to the lineup after missing a game. He injured his hamstring covering a kickoff against Washington.
LG Kyle Kosier (foot) - Kosier is expected back in the next week or two after reinjuring his foot against Green Bay. Cory Procter has filled in as the starter, but Montrae Holland got one series of work the last two games.
S Roy Williams (forearm) - The five-time Pro Bowler practiced some last week and should return to the lineup in the next week or two. He fractured his forearm against Philadelphia and required the insertion of a plate and screws.

Re: ROMO out !!!!!!!
this definetley helps our chances against the boys. . . but i am concerned about terrell owens we have ABSOLUTELY NOBODY!!!! who can cover him and marion barber is just beastly . . . . if we can limit marion barber on the ground game and try to contain owens all while beating up brad johnson i think we can win this game . . . but our offense has to give us atleast 21 points cause 3 field goals isnt going to do it . . . . L E T S G O R A M Z
Torry Holt Dont play that

Re: ROMO out !!!!!!!
This is a huge advantage to us...but they have one on us too. If we lose Pace, Goldberg is going to start and we know how bad that usually is...

Re: ROMO out !!!!!!!
No matter how you look at it, this improves our chances of winning. Furthermore, i wouldnt be surprised if the cowboys sat a couple of guys out who at the margain, might be able to play. If i was the cowboys, i would be taking the long range view of the season and take the calculated risk that i could be the rams without a couple of starters.
Johnson is a capable backup, but among other things lacks Romo's mobility and arm strength.
I think our playoff drive will continue in full force with another win this week and we will have a full head of steam heading to New England to face off against darth hoodie.
ramming speed to all

Re: ROMO out !!!!!!!
I would love to see this improve our chances, but I remeber the 0-4 start. I also remember how the RAMs (through history) always seem to make a nobody QB look like Joe Montana.
If we can force Owens across the middle, and lay one good hit on him, he will be gator arm the rest of the game.
I just hope channel 389 sticks with the Boys like they have so far this year, then I might get to see the game.
