I think the kid has superstar potential. He appears to have his head on straight and all the physical tools any corner could ask for. Barring injury, he is going to be an outstanding corner in this league, hopefully for the Rams.

    Re: Ron Bartell

He definitely has potential to be a solid corner. With Fisher and Butler injured he is getting valuable playing time. He will be counted on next year as well because you need 3 top CB's in todays game. Also Fisher and Butler will be question marks going into next season; we don't know if they will be fully healed or have nagging injuries that will sideline them at some point. :clanram:

    Re: Ron Bartell

I think he will be 1-Superstar! My reasons:
    1. Great Heart
    2. Great Potential
    3. Love for the game.
    4. Starting Talent
    5. Size

Once those 5 reasons that I posted above meet he will be one hell of a player.

Isn't that a line from "The Replacements"?

    Cool

:clanram: solid starter, will show flashes of superstar though. he just needs to be a full time starter NOW. jerry gray could really show this guy the art of covering if he ever becomes the rams next HC.

I'll never forget the line with the stick'em...."Coach, you know this don't look natural. Looks like I j***ed off an elephant!"

As crude and disgusting as it gets, but I must admit it makes me laugh everytime.

Haha... Ya I remember that part. My favorite character is Danny Bateman. I love when he strips the ball at the end of the movie to give the Replacements another chance... Where he is like "I got you the ball coach" blah blah blah and then the just stands there and the coach says "Go sit down now Danny" It doesn't sound funny but it his cause Bateman is a beast!

I would love it if it happened,if Bartell grows up into a pro bowler and Huff I think would be a starter from day one either at corner or safety,we can all dream

    Re: Ron Bartell

This is why I dont believe that we need to go after Jimmy Williams. Butler and Bartell would be good at CB. Bartell is going to be a superstar in the league. He's a smart kid that plays hard. I believe that he's going to be one of those guys that we look back on in a few years and wonder how he didnt go in the first round.
The Roman and The Prince. Playmakers until the end.
