Running is not as simple as giving the ball to Jackson

Just give the damn ball to Jackson!!!!!!

Most of you here know football better than these so called media experts.

For teams to keep running the ball they need the following:

1) A very solid defense
2) An OL and a RB who consistently gets positive yards
3) An offensive unit who is very efficent in completing 3rd and short yards....


4) And most important they need the game to be close.

For most of this season the Rams are 0-4.

So whether it's Vitt or Martz the Rams need to improve the running game by improving the D. A better D will Jackson more oppurtuninties........

We try to make it better but we can't! It just doesn't work!

Does anyone sometimes think we have our rose colored glasses on with Jackson. What has he done on the field to show he is the next Walter Payton?

I like Jackson but.......

I would trade him and several picks to get Bush next year without blinking...................

With so many D needs how can the Rams even consider a phenom like Bush??????

Oh well back to the drawing board..............

Hope the Rams lose out so he can get an easy schedule and top draft pick. Thats not true we have to beat the Whinners and Cowpokes but the rest of them I could careless at this time.....

Trade up and get Reggie Bush.

what exactly do you want to "trade up" to get reggie bush and the salary cap implications that go with the #1 pick in the draft.

Jackson has a long way to go, but the fact that he isnt marshall faulk or walter payton doesnt make him the problem on our team either. He is a solid young back who will improve. we have a plethora of problems on this team, he isnt one of them. Can he play better-sure.

Well considering Warner played against a high school defense yesterday I wouldn't be giving him the MVP yet.

We've all seen what happens when Warner plays against a real defense and it isn't pretty anymore.

Note that was warners FIRST WIN of the year as a starter. No knock on him, i love the guy, but qbs dont win and lose on their own. Arizona is awful, it just shows you how bad we are and how gutless we are to not show up to play against a team like that at home. Vitt did not have them ready to play and that is on him.

I don’t think Vitt is the long term answer I think this team is in cruise control with Vitt I don’t think they will get better or worse under Vitt this year. I do think they would probably get worse long term under Vitt. But what coach could take over this team and get them to improve their sorry Asses. The coach that assembled this team tried last year and again for 5 games this year to get them to improve and they are worse this year then they were last year.

Bottom line Vitt don’t look like the long term answer and no matter what coach you put in there they would have a hard time coaching these sorry asses and putting up with the FO and coaches that they did not chose for their staff.

Why would you trade up to get Bush you ask????

jackson is a d@mn good rb. he isn't the problem here.

He maybe not the problem. We now know he's not the answer.

I like Jackson not sure he's a good fit for the Rams. I can see him running the ball wearing black and gold. He fits that syle much better.

The question is do the Rams change thier syle to fit Jackson or do we trade Jackson and go after a player like Bush who would fit the Rams style of wide open offense.....
