    rw mcquarters for the rams?

Any shot of us signing rw hindquarters? Could be too much money, but do we have a spot for him at this point? Count with me---fisher, butler, bartell, garrett, groce, plus the crapshoot guys, ie terry fair, dwight anderson etc.

I'd pitch him some modest offer, but at the same time I'm quite sure it would not be anywhere near what some team with a bigger need is going to throw at him.

I think that, for a reasonable price, he could be worth a look. He's a decent punt returner, and probably would be a good nickel/dime option while Bartell develops.

I posted about this a couple months ago and I still feel the same as I did then. I'd take McQuarters in a heartbeat if his asking price isn't too large. As said before he'd be a good nickel/dime option and a good punt returner if Terry Fair isn't healthy and Groce doesn't shine.

Word from some Bear fans is that he's not a great tackler, but decent in coverage. Shouldn't expect him to make a conversion to FS either. But that's just what some fans are saying.

I'd throw a minimum offer at the guy. Why not?

He started a few games at FS for the Bears last year and from what I heard he bounced off ball carriers on a few occassions. He is a very good cover guy though. He'd be good insurance in case Butler or Fisher gets hurt. No telling what Bartell will be able to do.

I heard from a not so reliable source that he was going to the Raiders.
