Yes, SLOP is done. Mission accomplished.

May we never have an ___OP again.

For those who joined in the last 30 days, a pro rata refund of your first year membership dues will be returned to you within the next 30-60 months.

LOL! It may take that long for some of those checks to clear!

What if it was a little past 30 days. Say like 33, do I get a refund of some sort?

I never did get the opportunity to join SLOP, but let me be the first in line to join J-HOP.

I have to admit I was very close to signing up for SLOP. If anything it was going to depend on how we played in our game right after the bye week. Thank goodness Linehan didn't make it that far. You see I read the fine print at the bottom of the application about the 30-60 month refund.

    SLAP rests in peace.

Re: S.L.O.P is dead at Last

Here is my recognition to AVs S.L.O.P....

Last year I supported Coach Linehan all the way, even when this support wandered late in December. September of 2008 was different. Week 1. Week 2...3. Fourth game, at home Vs. Buffalo. AAAAARGHHH!!!

I've been very busy and thus away from the Clan these past several days. But I wanted to come here and start a 'VENT HERE. VENT THERE. VENT EVERYWHERE!' thread after the 31-14 loss. I was upset and fed up, as much as can I remember ever being since 1965 when I began to follow the Rams like a little lost puppy (1966-70 where S-T-R-O-N-G Ram years).

I was fed up seeing SL's tight lips, dry comments and somber look. I was fed up of seeing the Rams in ugly uniforms -- please, let's get those burned and burried! I was fed up seeing the Rams struggle to score and succeed in failing, missing opportunities, blundering their way minute after minute.

[So fed up of seeing Suzukis, Hondas, Accuras, Kias, Toyotas / Lexus, Nissans / Infinity, Hyundais. I HATE Japanese and Korean cars!!! Nothing to do with the Rams per se (sad to know some of them drive these cars), but it just got me in such a psychotic state of mind... Heeeee, heeee, hee!]

And so, although I never joined SLOP and it actually annoyed and bothered me last year, now I simply have to SALUTE it! You were right all the time AV, and I was wrong in resisting your honest campaign.

I wish Scott Linehan all the best in his personal life -- it must be very tough for him and his family right now, especially his kids. I'm sad he once became the HC of my team though he tried and was sincere in his actions for he's a good man. Glad he was able to talk to the team just before leaving too.

Again, to you AV, my somewhat submisive and silent tribute to SLOP.

People can call for H.O.P. all they want. But before anything else, I call for the Z.A.P. movement (Zygmunt Annihilation Party). Nothing is going to improve until this happens, which I pray is at the end of the season (at the latest). It mostly likely will not occur before then, but I think ZAP needs to be made official.
