    Saffold

According to NFL.com, x-rays on Saffold's ankle are negative.

    Wonderful news!

If a team won their division seven straight times, that would be a NFL record. Now add on that team did it with seven different QB's in seven straight years, that record is unbeatable. To do that feat, you must of had a great Defense. Jack Youngblood was the captain of that defense.

Spags commented that he doesn't think it will be a long term problem. Good news indeed!

Nothing at all against Saffold, because he has been playing great as a rookie all year long, but I thought Renardo Foster stepped in and played really good against a tough 49er front seven. He also played well when Smith was out, sure he is no starter, but definitely more adequate than I and several fans believed.

I also think Foster did an admirable job in Saffold's sted. If nothing else, I'm glad he's available as our backup swing tackle.

I think Foster did just fine, but the ***** dialed up the heat quite a bit, not sure Saffold would have made a big difference. Glad to hear it doesn't look serious.
