Re: Salas out !!!!
Really hate to see this one. I was harsh on him after the Giants game, but he really surprised me and has played very well since then.

Poor kid, I was really starting to like him. Playing WR for the Rams is like that movie Final Destination

Re: Salas out !!!!
Saw the play. As he was getting tackled, the defender landed on his lower leg and his whole foot twisted backwards the wrong way. I figured it was a tear in the ankle or something like that. When they put him on the cart and had him in the immobilizer on his leg and the way he was cursing and pounding the cart, I knew he was done for the year.
We lose Amendola, we replace him with Salas, then he goes out... guess Pettis better step up!I believe!

Re: Salas out !!!!
This injury bothers me more than the loss.
I mean I knew the season was lost, but Salas was really making the catches and even running well with the ball. I like how he protects the ball too.
But then in this disaster of a season, just when he was proving that he was going to be the receiver that we all saw in highlight reels, he gets injured. This team really is cursed, now they can't even evaluate one of their young receivers.

Re: Salas out !!!!
The fibula is the smaller of the two bones in the lower leg. I broke mine during my senior year of H.S. I was at full strength in 6 weeks. I'd say salas has an outside shot at salvaging the last couple of games, but by that time, who cares? Too much damage has already been done and we're playing for pride and jobs for the next 8 weeks.
How can one team have so many receivers who can't stay healthy??
