Sale of Team Could Impact Location, Personnel Choices
From Bernie's Messbox:
My sources have advised me that the sale of the Rams will likely have an immediate impact with respect to the location where the team plays and personnel decisions. While I am privy to certain names, I am bound to withhold certain information. Here's what I can divulge:
Ownership Group A wants to move the team to a new city. I can neither confirm nor deny whether it is Los Angeles, but it is definitely West of St. Louis. That same ownership group is adamantly opposed to any deal to obtain Michael Vick, as one of the top investors is an ardent supporter of PETA. That same group also, for what its worth, has ties to Mike Martz.
Ownership Group B's priority is to keep the team in St. Louis, but it would be willing to entertain a bidding war with another city willing to help finance a new stadium. That group's leader, when asked of Michael Vick, stated that he would be a good option to back up both Steven Jackson and Marc Bulger.
More later.

To the real Bernie: if the team leaves STL, can you promise us you'll follow them?

My heart sunk, until I realized that it was a fake.
