Is Sam a Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Eli Manning? Don't know yet. He just might be a pocket passer that requires a secure pocket, like Troy Aikman. Fine, I'll take that. But he needs protection and targets. Is he worth his contract? No. Is that his fault? No, it was the stupid system by which compensation was handled when he was drafted. Will he be a good QB? Yes. Will he be a HOF QB? Don't know yet.
Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Eli Manning and Troy Aikman? The Alex Smith comparison is one thing but why don't we wait until he actually wins a Super Bowl to start the other comparisons. We're all Ram homers but let's not be blinded by it.

I think most of us Homers when comparing him to Troy, are looking at the numbers Troy put up in his rookie year, second year ect. No one that I have read on this board has said that Bradford is in that class.... YET.

where has anyone said Bradford compares to them? In fact everyone has said you can't make the comparison yet.

in a perfect world, of course. But this is the NFL....The D line the Rams face week in and week out are paid to get the QB....IMO, this is one the key growth areas for Sam...buying a little bit extra time to make the throw to someone that is just about to get open but is not quite there yet..... There will always be someone after him....that extra atep he can take to avoid the rush will pay dividends........and it has for many QB's in the league now. i have seen him start this more as the year has progressed and it has worked.
Re: Is Sam Bradford the Rams' Alex Smith?
Can we please get the man someone to throw the ball to, before we rake him over the coals? This is his 3rd year with the RAMS and the best we have is Amendola. Could you imagine Bradford with Bruce, Holt, Snow, Ellard. Hakim, Faulk or Proehl.

Pretty certain I wasn't making a comparison.
