Re: Is Sam Bradford the Rams' Alex Smith?
in a perfect world, of course. But this is the NFL....The D line the Rams face week in and week out are paid to get the QB....IMO, this is one the key growth areas for Sam...buying a little bit extra time to make the throw to someone that is just about to get open but is not quite there yet..... There will always be someone after him....that extra atep he can take to avoid the rush will pay dividends........and it has for many QB's in the league now. i have seen him start this more as the year has progressed and it has worked.

I think Bradford under Spags and Murmer was discouraged from "making the throw, going for it, or threading the needle," or whatever you want to call it. (What he had to throw to is another discussion).
With some encouragement, his confidence will grow. The comparison to Smith is ridiculous.

Can we please get the man someone to throw the ball to, before we rake him over the coals? This is his 3rd year with the RAMS and the best we have is Amendola. Could you imagine Bradford with Bruce, Holt, Snow, Ellard. Hakim, Faulk or Proehl.
