Same Old Rams
What does this mean?
I'm being completely serious. No joke

Re: Same Old Rams
it means we are the same ol' sorry sack of non competitive footballers we've been over the last 5 years. Finding ways to lose, not scoring points, getting embarrassed and hoping that SJ will just run the ball 80 yards every drive to score.
SAME OL' RAMS

Re: Same Old Rams
No progress, same losing team we've been dealing with season after season

Re: Same Old Rams
The same exact thing has been happening since Spags first year. We get a lead in a game, fail to add to it, let the other team linger around, and they end up beating us. This guy has no idea how to maintain a lead long enough to win. Its a joke, and he's a joke head coach.
The only question is, which Browns player are we going to turn into a superstar next week?

I swear we're becoming the Chicago Cubs of the NFL.

Re: Same Old Rams
Yep, AGREE. The Rams are a soft, losing, pitiful bunch of overpaid, over hyped (Bradford) poor excuse for an NFL team.
I'm done with this team right now..... I cannot stand watching this crap year after year. I just KNEW they would screw it up, and they did. JUST KNEW IT.
I'll spend the rest of the NFL seaons doing something constructive. This franchise is going nowhere.Last edited by RAMFANRAIDERHATER; -11-07-2011 at 01:22 AM.

C'mon, it's just one "segment".

Re: Same Old Rams
We have been awful for years now but I do not see hardly any improvement in the team. It is the same junk every season. We do not draft well and hardly get any good free agents.

Re: Same Old Rams
The phrase that you refer to is "same 'ol sorry ass Rams". It originates with the game that the Whiners beat the Rams in 1995 by a score of 44-10. Whiners defensive end Tim Harris uttered the phrase on the sideline in front of an NFL Films crew.
Dana Stubblefield got the blame for the phrase for years. For a number of years, I thought it was Dana Stubblefield. In 1998, there was a fundraiser where a relative of Stubblefield had an authentic Whiners jersey that was signed by Stubblefield. She left angry as nobody would even bid the minimum of $75. I laughed because I hate the Whiners.
Even as pissed as I am about this game, I would still forearm smash someone in the face that uses the phrase around me. ..and I don't give a flying F who you are.
I appreciate you asking about that phrase as many a-holes use it without even knowing what it is about.

Re: Same Old Rams
One way to avoid being talked about in this negative tone is to play good football and find ways to win.

Re: Same Old Rams
For the first time this year, really speechless ater that game. Alpha, I agree with you, it is an oniferous statement and should never be uttered although, winning would take it away. NJ, ouch, huh? I feel bad for all of us Ram fans WW and really see no hope right now.
I will check back later in week but need to let this loss soak in and then see what I see. I do appreciate having this forum to vent but just a little stunned right now.

Re: Same Old Rams
I felt it coming. I've been through this too many times. Don't you guys remember last season with Spags? We love to hold on to 2 point leads.
