Sam's 2009 Roster of Current Rams

Since the season is now hopelessly overwith for our Rams, I have put together a list of current Rams that deserve a spot on the '09 Rams, or those who we can't afford to cut, but couldn't get crap out of in a trade. Of course, those still in a rookie contract will be sticking around to try to make the final 53.

This leaves 16 spots open. We would have to fill backup QB, both OT's, and a lot of CB spots. Of course, not all of these guys would make it past the cuts. Some of you may wonder why I kept some of the guys who really didn't seem to have a huge impact this year. Fair enough. Here's the criteria I used to make the list:

1. They were a good player
2. They are under a rookie contract, and are a decent value at the price
3. They haven't had a chance to show us what they can do
4. They have a contract that prohibits us from cutting them
5. There aren't many players or prospects out there that are available that are as good or better than they are

Justin King, placed on injured reserve. He would be a rookie. He will be on the roster next year.
