I've never been one to be satisfied with mediocrity, and that's exactly what 8-8 is. However, given what we've been through over the past eight seasons, I'd sign on for 8-8 without a second's hesitation. It would indeed represent a tremendous leap forward.

I agree with HUB's analysis of this year's units vs. 2010, but I would point out that this year's schedule (at least on paper) appears more difficult than the one we played in '10.

We have some very real holes and some very real question marks, but I just cannot see this team getting their asses kicked on a weekly basis with Fisher as head coach and a new regime in place. I think we will be competitive in most games, assuming of course we stay relatively healthy, our draft picks contribute as expected and we get a bit of well-deserved good fortune for once.
