Save the Quarterback, Save the World
I am worried for Bulger's safety this week. What is to stop Seattle from targeting those ribs? How many hits can Bulger take before being out of the game? This is now the most important win for us, but more importantly we must protect, protect, protect. It all starts right there. It is on the coaches to make sure the QB isn't killed this week, and the rest of the season will be decided on Bulger's health. Without him we are obviously a mess, with him we at least have a chance to compete. If you are religious I suggest you pray. GoRams!

well put, it is on the coaches but it's also on the lineman, they need to step up,starters or backups and protect there guy, they must realize the importance of keeping Bulger upright, not only for health reasons but also for a chance to win.

Re: Save the Quarterback, Save the World
I love how everybody automatically blames the lineman when the QB takes a hit . Get this straight: YOU CANT BLOCK 6 GUYS WITH 5. In other words, Leonard, Bulger, and Jackson need to shoulder some of the blame.
Its Jackson's and Leonard's fault for being terrible in blitz pickup.
It Bulger's fault for not recognizing the blitz fast enough and getting it to the hot read.
I don't recall Bulger getting sacked to many times against a 4 three man rush, but I could be wrong. I'm just saying alot more goes into protection than what the line does.

What concerns me is that Linehan will come out with that same offensive scheme he used against Tampa Bay. Over protecting Bulger!

Not to go religious, but I'm afraid God is not a fan of any particular team, something to do with that whole "no respecter of man" thing. Satan, on the other hand, is a HUGE Patriot fan! He's got an autographed photo of him and Bellichek together, AND every Sunday he watches the Pats game in his #666 Brady jersey with Hussein and Hitler. Huge fan!
