About how weak the NFC West has supposedly been, but if the Fortuniners beat the Giants next week, the NFC West will be the only division in football to have all of it's representatives make it to the Superbowl in the last decade.

Just thought I'd mention that.

Yea, because you can go to the playoffs with 7 wins!.. Nothing to brag about.

At least it shows our division is competitive, we havent had 1 team dominate it for some time....

The "mighty" Saints have been knocked out of the playoffs 2 years in a row by an NFC WEST team. :eek:

Its seems they have a problem beating NFC West teams, we did hammer them earlier in the season ;)

Now we have the very same defensive coordinator from the Saints.

Not a big fan of the continual blitzing Williams.

So what's more important, 14 wins in the regular season and out in your first game, or 7,8,9, wins in the regular season and a trip to the Superbowl? Seems like a no-brainer to me, but I guess to each his/her own.

That's why they play the games instead of deciding a winner based on pundits and vegas odds.

When the Rams and Seahawks went to the SB they had records of 14-2 and 13-3 respectively

The remarkable thing about our division is how little sustained success we've had considering we've all been good enough to compete for a title some time recently and yet the division as a whole has been hands down the weakest in the league over the course of the last decade.

Also interesting, the NFC west is the only division to make it to the divisional round of the playoffs every year since realignment.

If your front 4 can't get pressure, you almost have to blitz. Long and Quinn can pressure, so Williams won't have to blitz as much, especially if they can add a penetrating DT.

Unfortuantely, ALL appearances by NFC West teams resulted in a loss (assuming the Whiners lose to the Patriots)

I assume you mean one asterisk for the game stolen from the Seahawks by the officials, and the asterisk by the Rams in which their idiot HC GAVE the game away....
