    Scott Linehan

Our Rookie Headcoach led our team to an 8-8 record in the 2006 season, 2 games better than the 6-10 record of 2005. Worth a grade of B, IMHO. What does he have to accomplish with our RAMS in 2007 to get an overall grade of B or better from the Clan?

    Re: Scott Linehan

The team needs to improve. The easiest sign of improvement would be a winning record. Hopefully a winning record would translate into the playoffs but that is not always the case. Along with a winning record I would like to see improvements in our defense and special teams. If we improve in our record, defense, and special teams; I would say that this is going in the right direction and Linehan would get at least a B.

    Re: Scott Linehan

He's instilled his offense and Haslett has been developing the defense. What the rams really need to continue to work on is discipline and heart.

This isn't the '90's anymore- The Rams recent failures have not been due to a lack of talent. Injuries are a factor sure, but ever since the rams have put together a great team on paper, the only thing that has truly hurt them are themselves. With discipline and heart, the rams could limit mental errors and play hard (stay mentally strong).

Linehan has allowed the veterans on the team to take on their leadership roles. Now the rams just need to avoid the Carolina type blowouts and Division losses by developing and maintaining a tough mentality. Whenever the Rams play with a fiery attitude, they're near unstoppable. I'd like to see Linehan develop a team that has a fiery termperment and grit. You know, the anti-Kennedy attitude.

Do you recall back in the day, that when the Rams took the field vs. the ******, it was almost like a whole different team was out there playing. the team could lose to crippled bottom feeder teams every week, but then take on the ******* the next week and play like it was the superbowl. The Rams hated the ***** , refused to roll over and fought tooth and nail. That's the kind of attitude, blood and guts I'd like to see every week. Todd Kinchen stuff!

If I see the Rams minimizing mistakes and playing with a fiery attitude, I'd give Linehan the B+ or higher...

yeah I agree with everything said, mainly instilling that tough mentallity (the anti-kennedy). I think we could of been better in '05, had bulger not got injured in that mnf game against the colts where we were whupping them (until he got hurt). And injuries were definitely a key to what happened last season, (pace, pisa, holt) but its part of the game

Playoffs are a must. This offense is too talented to not at least make it that far. Anything less and I'll be disappointed, and Linehan will have some splaining to do.

    Three words: STOP THE RUN!

If he can manage that I will guarantee the Rams are a playoff team this season.
