Scott Wells out 4-6 weeks - fractured fibula

Is it time to see what Barrett Jones is all about?

Man, hopefully Jake Long is alright. Scott Wells is old though.... So maybe time for a younger talent to step in.

Just more good reasons for drafting at least a couple in this draft upcoming! We really need the quality depth even if the ladds don't start next season. Also I think Barret Jones won't play unless someone else goes down... I believe they are bringing him along slowly and want him to work on his conditioning for next year. (just a guess but it seems plausiable as he was coming off injury) If Barret comes into camp next year healthy and stronger he could probably win a job the ladd has so much potential imho. He was a star at every level really expect so much from him down the road.

Barrett Jones has been practicing almost exclusively at RG all season long. If you watched him at Alabama you'd know why.
Timmy Barnes is the backup center.

Wonder if Wells has played his last game as a Ram. $6.5 million next year or $2 million to let him walk. I'd draft a center and go forward. You can routinely get the #1 rated center in the 2nd round.

Did Tim Barnes do that bad filling in? If he does well over last 4 games do we give him a chance to start? My o-line would gp something like this next season:

    LT- Jake Long
    LG-Barret Jones
C- Tim Barnes or draft pick
RG- Roger Saffold/ Joe Barksdale/ draft pick
    RT- Joe Barksdale/ draft pick
