Seahawk's coaches Cromwell, Marmie come to face former team, Rams.

It didn't take long for former Rams Defensive coach Larry Marmie to find another job after his stint in Saint Louis. Marmie's now on Mike Holmgrens staff as Defensive Assistant coach of the Seahawks Secondary unit.

Another former Rams finds himself on Mike Holmgrens coaching staff. Seattle's Wide Receivers coach Nolan Cromwell has been an assistant coach for 16 years, mostly under Holmgren in Green Bay and in Seattle. Nolan; However, got his coaching careeer started with the Los Angeles Rams under Head Coach John Robinson in 1991. Cromwell also played his entire 11 year NFL playing career with the Los Angeles Rams after being drafted in the 2nd round of the 1977 draft.

Other noted Coaches on Mike Holmgren's staff: Jim Mora Jr. (Assistant Head Coach/ Secondary), Ray Rhodes (Special Projects/Defense), Jim Zorn (Quarterbacks), Stump Mitchell (Running Backs).

    1977-1987 Cromwell had 37 interceptions, 4 returned for TD's.

He was definitely a force, and in his prime he was always referred to as "the best athlete on the team".

Jim Zorn, out of Cal Poly Pamona (NO, I do not believe he is why they dropped their football program) I mostly remember playing with the squawks although he started out with one season each in Tampa and backing up Favre (not really, sheesh) in Green Bay before playing 9 years in the coffee town.

    Makes me feel old... er....
