Secondary Concern
OK,
With Butler gone for the year, Arch still in question, and many uproven guys trying to fill the void left by Aneas Williams, I think this is the biggest concern.
Ivy looks dependable, but he's very small and I would not expect he can cover a guy like Fitzgerald from Arizona or many other teams 2nd guy.
Is there cap room left to try to pick up another Corner, or was Ivy already that move?

Re: Secondary Concern
Who's out there? Nobody really. Bartell may be a surprise rookie. Groce is in his third year and should step up.
Besides, the injury Butler had would have taken away his one strength....he never got burned deep but oh he would get torched on slants. Take away his speed backpeddling and I'm afraid he would have been toast this year. Maybe that's why Martz kept insisting for more opinions because he knew Butler would be a liability and it wouldn't be fair to the player.

Re: Secondary Concern
Ray Mickens is about it...everyone else seems like speculation. However, I say go with what we have.

We could always make a trade. We are very deep at WR.Ray Mickens is about it...everyone else seems like speculation. However, I say go with what we have.
Ridgeway shows potential and Looker is a quaility vet.
Now I would only do this if by the end of the third pre-season game the secondary looks questionable.JUST WIN ONE FOR THE FANS

Re: Secondary Concern
Thought I heard somewhere that Mickens was being courted by the Browns. I personally doubt the Rams go out and pick someone up. There are plenty of bodies there to work with so they're probably just hoping they come through.

Re: Secondary Concern
I doubt there is anyone who is available who is more likely to fill the role well than Groce and Bartell.
Welcome to the St. Louis Rams!

Re: Secondary Concern
But wouldn't Groce have been the 3rd CB? So now the depth is that much thinner...
