Separating the baby from the bathwater
This is my current view of things. It is subject to change.
The Rams need to make a lot of changes. To do so, they must separate "the baby" (things to keep) from "the bathwater" (things to be flushed).
Sam Bradford: baby
A.J. Feelet: bathwater
Steven Jackson: baby
Rest of RBs: bathwater
Brandon Lloyd, Greg Salas, Austin Pettis: baby
Rest of WRs: bathwater
Rodger Saffold, Harvey Dahl: baby
Rest of OL: bathwater
Lance Kendricks: baby
Rest of TEs: bathwater
DEs: baby
DTs: bathwater
James Laurinaitis: baby
Rest of LBs: bathwater
Bartell, Fletcher, Murphy (if healthy): baby
Fill-in CBs: bathwater
Mikell, Stewart: baby
Rest of safeties: bathwater
Kevin Demoff: baby
Rest of coaching staff and front office: bathwater
Welcome to the St. Louis Rams!

Re: Separating the baby from the bathwater
Don't like the ditching of Feeley.
Also think Josh Gordy has earn't himself another season or two
Other than that I agree with all of it.

Re: Separating the baby from the bathwater
If possible, I'd probably keep Clayton Lopez and Andre Curtis. I don't know if it's from there hand or not, but it's hard to punish the Secondary coaches who have lost 10 players to IR and still have the 9th ranked pass D.Kevin Demoff: baby
Rest of coaching staff and front office: bathwater
Yes, I know that teams don't "have" to pass on the 32nd ranked run D, but still."Before the gates of excellence the high gods have placed sweat; long is the road thereto and rough and steep at first; but when the heights are reached, then there is ease, though grievously hard in the winning." --- Hesiod

Re: Separating the baby from the bathwater
You have to keep Kevin Demoff so he can keep up the quirky act of making all the rookies signing bonuses palindromes

Re: Separating the baby from the bathwater
Sam Bradford agree
Steven Jackson yes and no, if we are going to start to build a winner we need to draft SJ replacement sooner then later.
Brandon Lloyd, Greg Salas, Austin Pettis and I would add Daniel Amendola
Lance Kendricks agree
DEs: baby next year Quinn needs to be a starter period.
James Laurinaitis agree
Bartell, Fletcher, Murphy agree
Mikell, Stewart agree
Kevin Demoff not sure... but yeah agree the rest must go.
Needs
LB
DT
WR
CB
C
OG
LT

Re: Separating the baby from the bathwater
I think I agree with everything AV said -- I think most people should be in 90% agree -- the application of how to fix will be the disagreement

Re: Separating the baby from the bathwater
Agree for the most part, we should keep Amendolla and Gordy though in my opinion. Gordy has played pretty good for just coming in, and Amendolla is the best safety net there is.
