Seriously, who expected SF to win this game?
Without the spread, I did. Great defense, really good running game, offense that manages the game really well, and on their home turf. That against the youngest team in the NFL, with a shaky offensive line, and learning WR's. Not to mention the bone headed players sat due to being stupid.
Yes, I am frustrated at one that got away, and got away multiple times. But, we were supposed to get our asses handed to us. And we tied. Last year, we wouldn't have even shown up.
Learning and growing. That's what the Rams are doing. While they didn't learn to win, they learned not to lose...
Still thinking a tie is like kissing your sister...
This space for rent...

I honestly thought the Whiners would give us quite an asswhoopin'. I hope this young team learns how to finish games correctly and not shoot themselves in the foot like they did multiple times. Sans the penalties, we would've dominated them.

I too thought they would dominate us, but im very pleased to say that i was wrong. Its getting to the stage now were im angry if we dont win, instead of being angry at how cr@p we are. Moving in the right direction.

I am the same , I thought we would be thumped. But not happy with all the penalties.

A tie is pretty much worthless. It's almost like having a bye week count to your record. You didn't play so you didn't win or lose.
pah!

Umm, shouldn't your thread title be " Seriously, who expected STL to win this game?" But other than, I get your point.

I did not think we would win going in, BUT I did not think we would get blown out. I just don't have the respect for the 9ers offense. That being said I thought they could physical kick our butts. We did the butt kicking and I'm glad to see that, knowing thats what Fisher brings.

Re: Seriously, who expected SF to win this game?
a tie can be nice if you come back to make it one...but the rams on multiple occasions had plays to put the game away, but penalties killed it
that's why it's annoying, they should have a W, but they have a T instead, and ties don't help in the nfl
i saw plenty of good things from the rams, some bad, but they gave the niners a lot to handle
