Just saw on some other site that Walton has been put on waivers today. Not sure how accurate the info, some guy named Balzer or something or other says it's a done deal. Too much young depth to keep him around coming off back surgery I guess. This bodes well for Shivers, Coady and the street free agents they picked up. Clearing up some more cap space ?

Doesnt surprise me that he wouldnt make the team, but the timing is interesting. Wonder why they didnt take him to camp in case someone else got hurt. Maybe he never really recovered from the back injury. The cap savings will be minimal, walton only counted 340k against the cap this year. This means coady, shivers and lucas are all going to make the team barring injury, and possibly one street free agent as well, ie sheddrick copeland.
