I been thinking a lot about the Martz thing the last couple of weeks, do to the fact that I really don't want to see him go. I will be the first to admit he is far from perfect, but what more can we ask for in a head coach. The guy lays it on the lone for us every week. WE NEED SOMEONE TO RUN THE DEFENSE!!!

But, what I really been thinking about. We are all basing everything on pure stipulation and rumors. No one knows what is happening at Rams Park. Not Bernie, not Howard, not Thomas, not even Avenger. The bottom line is that it comes down to what Georgia wants. She holds the cards. And I believe she is not getting any younger or healthier. You don't see the lady hardly at all any more. I believe she doesn't want to go through any more major changes during her ownership. I believe everyone is very much forgetting about the one main cog in the Rams front office. She I believe will be the one to save Mike's job. Anyone notice how much things have dies down after the blow-up? Was there a couple of little mice put in there place?? I think maybe there a lot of media people that enjoy calling Martz out whenever there is an opportunity. I wouldn't start naming a successor until all the trump cards have been played.

i dont want to see martz go either other teams are just dying to get him to come to their organization so if Martz is going to be sought after so much how about we just keep him. He still gives every defensive coach nightmares and thats a great talent to have

I will say this.

Martz will grow and every time he meets the Rams he will do everything to stick it to us. (man, I should not drink and post, Ireland is not good for my liver)

I hope he stays with the Rams.

Don't bet on it. They are a few of us who think her chorus-line skills led the team down the dark days in the 1st place. She may very well be sMartz' savior in the end, but she isn't the team's.

You know I was thinking about that one. I suppose if one could stipulate to a set of facts, there just might be some pure stipulation relative to those facts also. But then again, that's just speculation on my part ...

I do not want Martz to go. It was be the most monumental mistake to let him go.
It would be up there with trading Eric Dickerson for some trinket draft choices that did not pan out.
If the Rams are going to let Mike go, I say trade him for some #1s, #2, and a couple of veteran players and money.

I do not want to see that happen but I would get worth for him.

Players and coaches come and go.....that's reality. I'm not going to sit here and say that when Martz leaves the sky will fall, I really don't know what will happen. They say you can't lose your job to injuries, well that's bunk. Ask Warner and now Martz. All I know is that playoff appearances are what I judge a coach on, and Martz has taken the Rams to 4 playoffs in 5 years. If Martz comes back, I'll be happy. If he doesn't, I hope the Rams look to a defensive style of HC.
