Shivers clears waivers, returns to rams

fyi, according to the post dispatch this morning, shivers cleared waivers and was signed to the practice squad. This was a real surprise to me, not that we resigned him, but that he cleared.

I am up so early preparing for the arrival tonight on the Great One, the allmighty and all seeing dez. Its going to take me an hour just to load enough beer into the fridge.

i, too, am mildly surprised that shivers cleared waivers, but if you take a look at the four preseason games on tape again you'll see that shivers did nothing in all four games. not even a single assisted tackle in special teams.

i doubt shivers will contribute this season but hopefully, if he's willing, he'll contribute next season...

Nice to keep him in the fold, he'll pick up the D soon enough. He's got some pretty good teachers to learn from. Like to see him replace Coady as a back up end of year or next.
